ORIENTATION

I just watched equilibrium. Equilibrium is an action science, thriller, drama film. It was written by Kurt Wimmer and the Director is Kurt Wimmer too. The producer is Jan de Bont and Lucas Foster. This film has a mind. The actor is Christian Bale. Do you know him? He is a batman.

INTERPRETATIVE RECOUNT

Now, listen to me!

Equilibrium is set in the futuristic and dystopian city state of Libria. It will to tell you about world after third world war. People think that if we haven’t emotion, third world war wasn’t happened. The human emotion was the primary cause of conflict. So, they decide to make people don’t have emotion. The required to take injection or drug in order to people don’t have emotion. Happy, sad, love, angry etc are lost. Drugs are save in the equilibrium. Drugs called prozium, if some people don’t have drugs, they have to die. They have to take death sentence Libria is lead by a reclusive figurehead known as “Father” father never interacts with anyone. People never met with “Father” his image is omni presents throughout the city in a strong cult of personality.

John Preston (Christian Bale) is a high ranking enforcement officer in a future dystoption. He is a widower whose wife, Viviana was executed as a sense offender, Living him with 2 children. He has duty to punish someone whose emotion is seen. They destroy all martial art. It is the law enforcement. Some people break loose because they want to have emotion. Emotion is beauty. The don’t agree about the law of Libria. They called ‘The Underground with sense offenders”.

Preston has a partner. His name is Errol Partridge (Sean Bean). Errol does’nt take drugs. So, he has emotions. He has a book of poem to read. Preston knows about that. He said, “Do you know our duty to punish “sense of fenders” and you are sense offenders! Can I do to die with happy. I can feel love. It is beauty and I like that”. John shoots him and He is died. All people admire with him. He can kill his partner with his hand without sense. But, they don’t know that John is “sense offender”. No body know about that. He can hide that. He decides to stop take prozium after his wife is died.

One day, in his mission, he finds material art and dogs. He gives command to his new partner (Brandt) that kill all and destroy all a reason that he will use a dog to sample his project. Brandt suspect Preston. He bring a dog in the calm place. He protect a dog. He kill some officer to safe a dog. He still confuse with his sense He interrogates Mary O’Brien. She is a sense offender prisoner. She gives information to him and learn love to him.

Once released, there is inspection, Preston rushes home to destroy his cache of unconsumed prozium before the police find it and is confronted by his young son, who reveals to Preston that he and his sister haven’t taken prozium since their mother was executed and have already hidden it for him.

Vince counsel Dupont call Preston. Dupont told, “I listen that in here, officer who is sense offenders. Do you know who is he?” John Preston answered, “I don’t know, Sir”. Dupont said” I have a report that you are sense offender!” Preston look that Brandt in there so. He sure that Brand is the reporter. So, John Preston said, “Do you have some evidence?” Not longer, Dupont shoots Brandt because He find Brandt’s gun in the happened placed. It’s Preston trick. He is smart.

Dupont says that he heard rumor of a cleric attempting to join the resistance, He will give a duty to catch them. Preston said, “I promise to find this traitor”. Dupont answered, “Good, you are the best officer. Do your duty!. I hear They will bomb in Libria’s Prozium factories. It’s dangerous”. Before Dupont meet him. Preston met the resistance leader. The leader said that it is strange. If “Father never meet people directly. He ask help from Preston to helm them. They ready to team work. They are caught without opposite. They have deal.

John has respect because He did his work. He can meet “Father” it is suppressed that he just see the face on the screen changes the real “Father” died years before and that he is now the head of state. He has ended the underground and also captured Preston without fight.

In respond, Preston reveals his concealed guns and shooting his way to Dupont’s officer, where he kills Duppont’s bodyguards in a sword fight. Duppont’s attempts to persuade him as a follow felling human, not to kill him but he has a memories about his wife, his friend, dead. So, he kills Dupont.

He destroyed all about father and anything about Dupont. Prisoner are released. The film end with Preston Smiling as he watches the Librarian government fall. Now, Librarian is peace and with put government with love and sense in to effect. Finally, I can put government with love and sense into effect. Finally, I can see Christian bale smiles like that. He is handsome. And I like his words that we need equilibrium between one and other.

EVALUATION

Christian Bale as John Preston is best actor. He can play the role of John Preston beautifully. I can feel his conflict in his heart. I can read his feel from his eyes, not only his measure. He looks like a killer but in the real, he has love in his heart.

In this film, I can see great action like the matrix. I like John Preston’s uniform officer. He is cool with uniform of black. He can beat up hi enemy with relax. He has great action. I like the character of John Preston.

Equilibrium tells us about happened after Third world war. So it is happened in the future. You can see modern technology, great building, flaying car, etc. this visualization and action is really good. You’ll see the actor’s full performance when you see his facial expression. You can see his sorrow and his solitude from his eyes.

EVALUATIVE SUMMATION

Overall, equilibrium is an excellent movie. The characters are well developed. It is serious film. You need a lot of deep thinking to watch that and I like that because it’s not just movie. You can know that we should think before do something. An emotion is not wrong. It is good and beautiful. I recommend that you have to watch that. For action film fans. It’s obligatory film. It has been called a cult film. I intend to see this movie again.

First of all, I would like to thank all for giving me the opportunity to say a few word in here. Now, I’d like to speak about “Watching Television”.

We are from the “Pro” side
If you watch television, you can many information News from abroad can come in here with television. We know about that, without have to go abroad. We can follow development epoch, like, fashion, discovered etc.
Anything have extended by television we know about many information and news by television. Television is a communication device. easily to used. You can find consolation by television, you can see and know about government, political, economical. There were almost with all aspect.
So, from these reasons, my friends, we reached the conclusion that television have so many advantages. Now, besides watching television has advent it has disadvantages too.

We are from the Contra side.
Many children like watching television, but they don’t like study so what do you think? Is it good? They can’t leave television . They like cartoon, sinetron, football etc. they can forget anything. They forget their duty, study, etc. In fact, they don't watch news but they like to watch movie, conser etc. Suddenly, many people like pornographic movie. That's bad.

So far, television have many advantages and disadvantages. That depends entirely on the personality. They should manage time for watching television and do duty, what are you being watched, what should you watch? Because we need television in order to you have information.

Earthquake Disaster in Yogyakarta

27 May 2006, earthquake shaked Yogyakarta. BMG (Meteorology and Geofisika) body said that earthquake happened at 05.54 WIB with Indian Ocean episentrum around 37,2 km south of Yogyakarta, 8.2605, 110.310 E, on the depth 33 km.

First earthquake had strength 6,3 and had followed with two vibration with strength 4,8 and 4, 6 happened for 4 until 6 hours after first earthquake Klaten (30 Km North of Yogyakarta) and Bantul (south of Yogyakarta) caused a big vibration. Seismologi data said that most seriousness of condition damage happened in the line from east of sea until Klaten. Besides, because strong vibration. Damage happened because house structures were not good, and ground sediment was brittle.

Some people run off to the high territorial. They were afraid about tsunami, but tsunami didn’t happen in Yogya. Source of earthquake was estimated from tektonik earthquake and in a in indirect manner connected with Merapi eruption. Even though earthquake caused raising activities of Merapi mountain. Java island was in the diffusion Australian plaque and Eurasia. Biggest influenced would happen of the small effort and move to the center because Yogyakarta was industrious center in the Indonesian was developed with small scale. Social sector had significant damage. Education and health instruments had broken earthquake.
JRS, gave a help and delivered sacrifice to the hospitals. JRS built store house to distribute things (food, and non food). All people gave help to sacrifice. From all territorial followed to help them. They were ready to help in the emergency situation. Foreign aid came too. They could help sacrifice.

12 April 2005, Direktorat danger attention Vulkanologi and geology gave attention “ ready” from 2 to 3 ( indication of mountain will explode).

This Story happened many summers ago. There was a young flower in the desert where all was dry and sad looking.

Cerita ini terjadi kira-kira musim panas yang lalu. Ada bunga muda di gurun di mana semuanya kering, dan kelihatan sedih.

It was growing by itself, enjoying every day, and saying to the sun , “When shall I be grown up?” And the sun would say, be patient. Each time I touch you, you grow a little.” And she was so pleased because she would have a chance to bring beauty to one corner of the desert. And this is all she wanted, to bring a little bit of beauty to this world. One day a hunter came by and stepped on her. She was going to die and she felt so sad. Do you know why? It was not because she was dying, but because she would not have a chance to bring a little bit of beauty to that corner of the desert. The Great Spirit saw her and was listening. He took pity and said,”She should be alive.” Then, he reached down and touched her and gave her life.

Dia tumbuh sendiri, menikmati setiap hari dan berkata kepada matahari,”Kapan aku jadi besar?” Dan matahari akan mengatakan,”Bersabarlah. Stiap waktu aku menyinarimu, kamu tumbuh sedikit.” dan dia sangat senang karena dia akan mempunyai sebuah kesempatan untuk membawa kecantikannya ke satu sudut gurun. Dan ini semua dia inginkan, untuk membawa sedikit kecantikannya ke dunia ini. Suatu hari seorang pemburu datang dan menginjak dia. Dia akan mati dan merasa sangat sedih. Tahukah kamu mengapa? Bukan karena dia sedang sekarat, tapi karena dia tidak akan mempunyai satu kesempatan untuk membawa sedikit kecantikannya ke sudut gurun. Roh Agung melihat dia, dan mendengar. Dia kasihan padanya dan berkata, ”Dia harus hidup.” Kemudian, dia menjangkaunya dan menyentuhnya dan memberinya hidup.

Finally, she grew up to be a beautiful flower and that corner of the desert became so beautiful because of her.

Akhirnya, dia tumbuh menjadi bunga yang cantik dan sudut gurun menjadi sangat indah karena dia.
